My name is Orville Cunningham, and I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward personal growth and self-discovery.
My practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and a strong belief in each person’s innate potential for healing and transformation. As a person-centered therapist, I view you as the expert of your own life.
My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space—whether online, in person, or for couples counselling—where you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I’m here to support you as we work together to rediscover your strengths, address life’s challenges, and foster meaningful, lasting change.
I practice in South East London for those seeking face-to-face appointments and also offer online sessions for added flexibility, allowing me to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and locations.

The first meeting is a 15-minute consultation and is free of charge. This will be an opportunity for us to explore what's happening in your life and consider how counselling or psychotherapy can support you.
You can experience my approach and ask any questions you might have about therapy and the counselling process.
If you feel ready to move forward, we’ll set up a regular time—online or face-to-face—that suits your needs.
Therapy can be tailored to fit different time frames. Some people find that a short-term approach, such as 6 to 12 weeks, helps with specific challenges or provides immediate support, while others prefer a longer, open-ended arrangement for deeper exploration and lasting change.
We’ll work together to find the approach that feels right for you, perhaps starting with a few sessions and deciding together if further work will be beneficial.
